The Buckinghamshire Arms, next to Blickling Hall just outside the market town of Aylsham, is known locally as The Bucks. It is a traditional 17th century pub and former coaching inn now offering bed and breakfast accommodation and know for s erving many real ales and great food, it is the perfect stop off when visiting the Norfolk Broads
Excellent Food - With our team of chefs running the kitchen, you can expect classic English dishes beautifully presented and packed with flavour. As well as our à la carte menu, we offer special dishes which change daily to reflect the best of seasonal ingredients available.
Local Produce - All our meats are sourced from local suppliers and are of the highest quality. Our smoked chicken and duck come from Mortons of Skeyton, fish is supplied fresh by Coles of Lowestoft. The highly acclaimed Swannington Farm to Fork provide us with the finest cuts of beef, lamb and pork.
Fancy a Drink? - The Bucks has a great selection of real ales including Woodfordes and Adnams and at least 2 seasonal guest beers. Wines are served by the glass or the bottle from an exciting, and frequently changing, wine list. For coffee and tea lovers, we offer freshly brewed speciality blends so please feel free to come in and have a hot drink.
The Blickling Estate, which surrounds The Bucks, covers 4,777 acres and includes woodland, parkland and farmland. Public footpaths traverse the estate providing free year round access.
The world famous Norfolk Broads is within easy reach by road (approx 15 miles to Wroxham at the Heart of The Broads ) or take a steam train on the Bure Valley Railway which runs from the outskirts of Aylsham to Wroxham.
Breakfasts served every day 8 am - 10 am. Booking preferred.
Tea & Coffee served 10 am - 12 noon.
Delicious food served lunchtimes, evenings and all day Saturday & Sunday.
