Sutton Staithe Hotel overlooks the River Ant in the heart of the beautiful national park that is the Norfolk Broads.
The broads are over one hundred and twenty miles of waterways that have inspired generations to visit, photograph and document its wonder. Yet, the Hotel is easily found and enjoys free mooring spaces.
Sutton and nearby Stalham are a perfect location for a stay in the Norfolk Broads. They lie at the northern end of the Broads, with both villages connected to the River Ant, which flows downstream to Barton Broad, How Hill and Ludham Bridge, through some of the most beautiful Norfolk Broads scenery.
We are ideally located for exploring the Norfolk coast, sandy beaches and countryside as well as the Broads.
The Hotel boasts fourteen fully en-suite bedrooms. These include single, double, twin & family rooms. All are equipped with tea & coffee making facilities and Freeview TV. The latest Internet Access technology is offered throughout the Hotel allowing you to keep in touch.
Fully house trained pets are very welcome (Subject to prior approval and in certain rooms) Charges apply.
Our restaurant offers a wide choice of dishes and flexibility to satisfy the needs and tastes of our many guests, both young and old, who we see return again and again. The restaurant menu features all of the traditional favourites from steak to fish, pastas to pies.
The menu offers various choices of appetisers and a range of different main dishes which include numerous homemade dishes. Specials are changed daily & weekly. Gluten Free, Vegetarians, Vegans and those with special dietary requirements are catered and cared for with our super selection of dishes, always available.
Sunday Lunch is our ever popular carvery we have a mouth watering selection of succulent meats, sausage meat stuffing & our homemade yorkshire puddings. We also have a generous selection of fresh vegetables & our signature homemade gravy. The carvery is situated in our function room at the rear of the hotel and is served 12pm to 3pm. Our usual menu is resumed in the evening.
We pride ourselves on a well-stocked bar, serving a great range of local Norfolk real ales and beers alongside a vast choice of lagers & spirits. Our wines are served by the glass or bottle.
We also offer a wide variety of freshly brewed teas, freshly ground coffees & soft drinks.
All of which can be enjoyed in our cosy bar or in the gardens.
