A fabulous AA 5 star rated, riverside cottage on the banks of the River Thurne at Potter Heigham with spectacular views over the river and picturesque Medieval bridge. With 2 bedrooms it comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests.

Recently Refurbished to a high standard it offers the perfect base from which to explore the area by water or road. The 75 ft river frontage is perfect for enjoying a spot of fishing or just enjoy the garden and relax while watching the river traffic pass by.

There is no vehicular access the Cottage is reached along a made up footpath and footbridge that runs from Herbert Woods Boatyard to the rear of the cottage, about a 5 minute walk in total. Sunray has a parking space available for guests at Lathams Car Park, spaces are not allocated so you are able to park in any available parking space.

Riverside Garden

The private riverside garden has it's own mooring. As well as the lawn there is a decked area, a pizza oven, garden furniture and storage for fishing gear.

Living Room and Kitchen

Enjoy river views from the open plan living/ dining area. Features include a dining table for 6, electric heating, smart TV and comfortable sofas.

The kitchen is fully equipped and has all mod cons including a dishwasher, washing machine and microwave.

Bedrooms

The bedrooms have river or countryside views with the master bedroom having a kingsize bed and en suite bathroom. There is also a family bathroom. The family room sleeps 4 in a double and bunk beds.

Sunray is located just a 5 minute walk from the amenities, Bridge Stones cafe, Lathams (they sell everything you could possibly want and things you didn’t even know you wanted!). Fantastic fish & chips at ‘Nippy Chippy’ and Norada Grill and Tavern, the local pub which serves food. Sunray is strictly no smoking please.  Sorry no dogs at this time,
