Star Cottage

Star Cottage is located in Wroxham, the hub of the northern rivers and broads. The cottage is close to the famous and iconic Wroxham Bridge and has the great benefit of being on the downstream side of the bridge where all the activity takes place! 

Star Cottage guests can relax in the lounge or on their private patio while watching the ever-changing scenery of wildlife and boating activities taking place on the river before them. 

Star Cottage sleeps up to four guests in two comfortable bedrooms, one double and one twin. The whole property has been progressively redecorated to a high standard by the current owners.

On the ground floor the cottage has an entrance hall with storage and cloakroom. A large open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area makes up the rest of the ground floor, with french doors leading onto a private patio, complete with garden furniture. 

Upstairs on the first floor is a family bathroom including toilet, wash basin and full size bath.The main, double bedroom has views across the river, and includes a dressing table, built-in wardrobe and room for a travel cot if required. 

The smaller twin bedroom is at the rear of the property, and also benefits from a built-in wardrobe. Linen and duvets for all beds are included and beds made up for your arrival. 

Star Cottage is one of the few on the Peninsula site to benefit from a parking space immediately adjacent to the property, as well as offering probably the best views of the main river. 

Downstairs comprises of an open plan kitchen and lounge area. Not well shown in the photos is the large desk located in the alcove beneath the stairs, which is particularly useful for writing, working on a laptop or playing cards etc. 

The swivel leather armchair at the desk can be turned-around to provide additional lounge seating if needed. The french windows open onto the private patio and offer a direct view of the river.
