Sandringham Cottage is in a near perfect central location on the very banks of the River Bure in Wroxham, the "Capital of the Norfolk Broads", and is an idyllic base for up to four people to relax, unwind and enjoy a riverside break in Norfolk.
The cottage has been fully refitted and now boasts totally redecorated and refurnished bedrooms, bathroom, fully refitted kitchen and flooring throughout.
The cottage will accommodate four guests in one double and one twin bedroom. Both rooms have dual aspect River Bure views. Each bedroom has full height ceilings, ample storage in drawers and a large wardrobe – two towels per guest are provided and beds are made up for your arrival. The bathroom, again with full height throughout, is upstairs and has a bath with shower over, basin and toilet. A wall heater and heated towel rail are also fitted.
Downstairs there is a dual aspect lounge with feature porthole window that looks directly over the River Bure to the Hotel Wroxham so you can watch the activities in the river, whether these be if the wild birds or the various boats and canoes. When sitting on the sofas you can also look downstream over Wroxham Reach, a similar view to the one from standing on Wroxham Bridge. There is a TV with Freeview and a DVD player for entertainment and WiFi connection is available on site. The kitchen features a built in oven, hob, microwave, fridge freezer and dishwasher so you can concentrate on enjoying your holiday.
Moving outside through the French doors there is a covered south east facing balcony immediately adjacent to the River Bure - an ideal location to sit and enjoy coffee in the morning sun. Your car can be parked off the road close by at the end of the row of cottages in a dedicated space and you can moor your dinghy or dayboat boat on our private mooring that is just outside the cottage if you wish during your stay. Fishing is available in season from the gardens with the appropriate licence and there is a pub garden style picnic bench on the lawns for eating outside in the summer time if you wish
Investment in the building insulation, double glazing and electric heating arrangements mean that the cottage is a cosy proposition for winter breaks and not just a base for those lazy summer days.
Prices are seasonal but vary in 2019 from £365 a week for winter fishing to £995 a week in the peak summer season. This price includes the cost of electricity used during your stay.
