Run by husband and wife organisers Andy and Katherine Walter, Loddon Mill Arts in the picturesque village of Loddon on the River Chet, produce intimate venues for music, comedy and other arts at their picturesque country house in the Broads region. Held in the converted grain processing barn, visitors can expect a much more personal, memorable and immersive experience of the arts at Loddon Mill.
Visit our website and find out what exciting music and comedy shows we've got coming up.
LODDON MILL ARTS organise arts events in East Anglia, occasionally from the home of the proprietors Katherine & Andy Walter. They live in the fabulous and historic setting of the mill complex in Loddon, on the Southern Broads in Norfolk and own part of the complex of buildings.
The Mill complex originally contained a watermill, engine rooms, miller’s house and 9 acres of water meadows and wood. They own the miller’s house, engine rooms, water meadows and wood. Please note – the watermill building is independently & privately owned.
Events: Our events ‘at home’ are held in a Victorian built (Grade II listed) building, hidden behind the watermill which used to house the steam engines and grain processing barns. Here the grain was stored and processed and although the steam engines which drove the complex of machinery have long since disappeared, we retain the truncated chimney and a large space. This space called ‘The Mill Rooms’ is ordinarily our house, but for a few hours every month transforms into an arts venue, with bar/reception area and backstage areas.
