The Horning Foot Ferry

The ferry provides a service from the Ferry Inn across to the Woodbastwick side of the river.  Perfect for walkers and bikers to enjoy.  There is also a small car park so what better way to get to the pub!

From now on, the Ferry will be able to take passengers not only across the river, but also up to the village of Horning and down to Cockshoot dyke and St Benets Church. You can “hail” us from the village, using the number below.

Through April, May and into June, the Ferry will be operating most weekends up to the School summer half term Holidays.   From then, we will be operating 7 days a week up until October and then will cut back to weekends.

Times of service will be 11am-7pm ( or sunset)

The ferry runs from the Ferry Inn on Ferry Rd in Horning NR12 8PS

Our facebook page is a great place for leaving comments or suggestions about our sevice. last year, we started a collection of photos of the various dogs we had on the ferry. Also some of our mad cycling friends as well!!
