Good Beach Guide

The Good Beach Guide is the only truly independent guide to the quality of Britain's bathing waters.

The Marine Conservation Society, is an environmental charity that continually focuses public and media attention on marine pollution issues in the UK and they have put together this guide which highlights the issue of pollution. Tho campaign for more investment by water companies to improving sewage treatment and better monitoring of waste water overflowing on to beaches is ongoing.

The Good Beach Guide is a free service, but a donation means we can keep the site running. If you love getting in the sea, please support us so that we can continue to put pressure on water companies to invest into better systems to treat our water and waste.

This means that our great beaches can thrive to the benefit of people and the creatures that inhabit the coastline, the dunes and the marshes.
