Broads Escapes offers a collection of self-catering holiday cottages and pet friendly cottages within in the pretty riverside village of Potter Heigham in the idyllic surroundings of the Norfolk Broads National Park.

If you are a keen angler you can find some of the Broads best fishing right on your door step and all of our customers benefit from discounted day boat hire for the duration of their stay so you that you can enjoy the tranquillity of the National Park from the water.

The village of Potter Heigham boasts two pubs, a coffee shop and bakery, fish and chip shop and post office. Across the road from the cottages Lathams stocks everything from groceries to deck shoes and for the angling enthusiast it has a well stocked fishing department selling tackle and fresh bait.

Coot Cottage

Within the Broads Haven marina, Coot Cottage comprises a fully equipped kitchen, large sitting/dining room with digital flat screen TV and DVD player. French doors open onto a large deck overlooking the water. Master Bedroom with a Super King sized bed* and en suite shower room. Second with twin bedroom and family bathroom with bath/shower. With this property there are two single beds available on request, please advise when booking. Smoking is not permitted. 

Heron Cottage

Overlooking the water within the Broads Haven marina Heron Cottage is a traditional timber built cottage comprising a fully equipped kitchen, large sitting/dining room with digital flat screen TV and DVD player. Master bedroom with King sized bed and en-suite shower room. A further two twin rooms and family bathroom with bath/shower. This property has a private deck. Smoking is not permitted.

Kingfisher Cottage

Overlooking the Broads Haven Marina, Kingfisher cottage comprises a fully equipped kitchen, large sitting/dining room with digital flat screen TV and DVD player. French doors open onto a large deck by the water’s edge. Master bedroom with King sized bed and en-suite shower room. A further two twin rooms and family bathroom with bath/shower. Smoking is not permitted.

Swan Cottage

Swan Cottage is a traditional water front property with large deck overlooking the Broads Haven Marina. The cottage comprises a fully equipped kitchen, large sitting/dining room with digital flat screen TV and DVD player. Master Bedroom with a Super King sized bed* and en suite shower room. Second twin bedroom and family bathroom with bath/shower. With this property there are two single beds available on request, please advise when booking. Smoking is not permitted. 

Swift Cottage

Located within the Herbert Woods Marina Swift Cottage comprises a fully equipped kitchen, large sitting/dining room with digital flat screen TV and DVD player. French doors open onto a private deck overlooking the water. Master bedroom with King sized bed and en-suite shower room. A further two twin rooms and family bathroom with bath/shower. Smoking is not permitted.
