As a family business in Coltishall in the heart of the Norfolk Broads, we maintain a good reputation for a friendly service combined with as much local high quality meat and food produce as possible. We opened our shop in 1974 which means we have over 35 years of experience looking after the local community’s needs. My Father and Mother started the business and I, Robin Hewitt, joined them six months later, with my father’s vast experience and knowledge of the butchery trade we soon became established.

When my father retired 10 years ago I took over the running of the family business with my colleague Matthew Shorten; still maintaining all the old family traditions but also keeping up with modern trends. This is our ultimate goal.

We offer the customer choice that only a traditional butcher can provide. Our meat, poultry and game is available in a wide variety of cuts and our homemade pies and pastries can be made to order and supplied either fresh or frozen.
