Dairy Barns

Dairy Barns offers the bed and breakfast accommodation, nestles in the lovely countryside of Hickling in the Norfolk Broads. The pretty village of Hickling offers a pub and restaurant and a lovely broad to explore for those sailors amongst us. Hickling is also just a spit away from the beautiful beaches and coastline, ideal for family days building sandcastles. The marshes and countryside offers wonderful walks, bird spotting and relaxation.

Dairy Barns as you might gather, is on a working farm and has been built from renovated farm barns on Lound Farm owned an operated by Hannah and Dean.

There are six bed and breakfast rooms located on the ground floor, Dahlia, Norfolk Lavender, Samphire, Sunrise, Seaside which overlook a courtyard garden and Rambling Rose, adapted with a wet room shower with seat and wider doors for those with mobility issues, looks out over the farmyard.

All the rooms offer flexible accommodation with twin/double beds and are luxuriously furnished and en-suite. We can also provide children's cots or folding out beds if needed and every effort has been made to help you enjoy the perfect stay, whether a short break or an extended visit.

There are a further three very special rooms, Swallow's Nest, Barn Owls Retreat and The Cowshed.  Each is luxuriously kitted out and have their own private courtyard and lounging area complete with sofas, dining table and fridge, a perfect romantic getaway.

Our breakfasts are served using locally sourced produce, either in the big barn or for that added pampering, in your room.

There is a guest lounge with board games for those infrequent rainy days, a garden and courtyard to enjoy the sunshine and perhaps a glass or wine to two!

There is a small charge for children per night sharing including breakfast. Children welcome aged 2 and over.
