Cockshoot Broad is a secluded, tranquil Norfolk Broad, renowned for its water lily beds - a testament to the good water quality here. There are many damselflies which can be seen resting on the water lilies including variable and red-eyed damselfly. It is part of the Bure Marshes National Nature Reserve.
