At the Britons Arms in Norwich in Norfolk, we provide everything you expect from an English Coffee House, freshly baked scones, sausage rolls (incomparable…), lots of cakes, biscuits and our legendary flapjack: accompanied by daily newspapers, up to date magazines and some chat and banter if you choose….

Our daily changing blackboard menu reflects our commitment to fresh, local and seasonal produce. You can choose a simple bowl of soup with our homemade bread or one of our daily changing specials from the blackboard….

We really do serve some fabulous cakes, Lemon and Norfolk Lavender Drizzle, a very special Fruit Cake, Toffee Coffee and Almond Cake and of course Carrot and Walnut Cake

Our Classic Cream Tea….A choice of leaf teas, plain or fruit scone, locally made raspberry jam and whipped cream…bliss!

Most things can come as a child sized portion…we really value our young customers!

The Britons Arms Garden is often described as ‘The Secret Garden’. Tucked into the slope of the hill between churchyard and street, it’s difficult to convince new customers that the garden really is upstairs! With seating for only twenty four people the garden is intimate, tranquil, and comfortably sheltered. Our planting takes advantage of this we are able to grow many unusual and interesting plants. It truly is the most delightfully peaceful and relaxing place to eat.

The Britons Arms is situated in the heart of the Medieval city, close to the Cathedral, the river, and St. Andrews Halls. We are conveniently close to the shopping and commercial centre of the city.
