Big Dog Ferry boat trips along the River Waveney

For a lazy day on the river, why not take a trip on Big Dog Ferry, which runs timetabled passenger boat trips regularly between Beccles Lido and Geldeston Locks Inn.

It is a relaxing 3 mile boat journey along the River Waveney with the opportunity to enjoy the wildlife en-route – otters, kingfishers and marsh harriers are all regular sights along the river.

Disembark and enjoy a meal, a drink or music at The Locks Inn or stay on board for a round trip.

If you’re feeling energetic you could take a one-way ticket and walk back on delightful footpaths along the Angles Way - why not visit Maisebrooke Farm in Shipmeadow?
