Agatha Christie was a regular visitor to The Beechwood when it was a private house, from the 1930s until the 1960s and several of her letters are on display at the hotel.

Bedrooms

All the bedrooms feature giant beds with comfortable sprung mattresses, squashy pillows and fluffy bathrobes. Some have French door opening onto the peaceful garden and outside seating areas. Others are four-posters with Victorian-style bathrooms featuring Mae West style slipper baths and walk in showers.

All bedrooms are non-smoking.

Restaurant

The AA two rosette restaurant is open to both residents and non residents offering a British fine dining menu. All meals are expertly prepared by our team of chefs using fresh local produce.
