Beccles Golf Club is set on the heath to the north of the important market town of Beccles.
The Golf Club has been in existance since 1899 and is a great place to play golf. The common is on the north side of the town with access via Common Lane. The club itself is voluntary run except for the wonderful part time green keeper who has transformed the greens back to their former glory.
The course consists of 9 holes varying from par 3’s through to a par 5, all laid out on what many call an inland links setting.
Although there are no bunkers or water on the course there is a lot of gorse and small, fast greens to make good course management a requirement for a good round.
The Club is small with 70 members including 5 Ladies and 11 Juniors. The course is available for the public to play for a small green fee which covers them under the clubs public liability insurance.
During the week the green fees for adults are £5.00 for 9 holes or £10.00 for 18 holes/all day. Bank Holidays are £10.00 and Juniors are half price.
