Rural Arts and Crafts are very strongly represented in and around the Norfolk Broads. Centuries of traditional crafts such as Weaving, Pottery, Thatching have been centred around the Norfolk Broads with the waterways busy with transport plying the trades to the rest of the world. Nowadays, as well as the individual businesses, there are Rural Centres where all the modern artisans have their studios so visitors to the Norfolk Broads can see a wide variety of arts and crafts under one roof.
